We had a wonderful evening with dads, uncles, grandpas, and other father figures at our Watch D.O.G.S. event! Everyone enjoyed time together while hearing from past Watch D.O.G.S. about the positive impact the program has on both students and the male role models who participate. These volunteers play an important role in supporting students, assisting teachers, and helping with campus security. We’re excited and grateful to have so many signed up to make a difference this year! If you missed this event and would like to be a WatchDOG, call the front office.

Our amazing front office staff sets the tone for the entire school by being friendly, kind, and welcoming to everyone who walks through the doors. Their “What can we do to help you?” attitude creates a positive first impression and ensures that students, families, and staff feel supported. This level of care and professionalism builds trust and makes the school a place where people know they are valued. Together they bring a total of 30 years of experience in schools helping students and families.

Frios will be on campus tomorrow. Enjoy a tasty treat and support the SMUSD Odyssey of the Mind program. Pops are $4 and 20% comes back to our students.

Congrats to our second grade students for having the best attendance for the month of August! They hit our school goal of 95%.

What a wonderful time it was having grandparents join their grandchildren for a special Grandparents Day celebration! Both students and grandparents enjoyed spending quality time together while doing activities like Sip and Draw, trivia, The Price is Right, Then and Now interviews, finger painting, and so much more made the day fun and memorable for everyone.
