From pursuing advanced degrees to balancing family, teaching, and college, we each bring unique experiences and strengths to our classrooms. Most importantly, we love working with children and helping every student reach their fullest potential!

Saddle Mountain Unified School District – School Closure Notice Dear SMUSD Staff and Families, Due to heavy rain, flooding, and unsafe weather conditions throughout our community, Saddle Mountain Unified School District will be closed today. The safety and well-being of our students, staff, and families is always our number one priority. Given the current weather and road conditions, we believe cancelling school is the safest decision for our community. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we prioritize the safety of everyone in our district. Please stay safe, take care of one another, and have a wonderful day. Sincerely, Saddle Mountain Unified School District

Due to heavy rain and flooding, Session 1 of developmental preschool at Tartesso and Ruth Fisher will be cancelled. We will continue to provide communication regarding sessions 2 and 3. Thank you for understanding.

Due to flooding we are on a 2 hour late start. Transportation to all schools will be delayed by 2hours this morning. We will continue to provide updates as needed.

Looking forward to a "Spooktacular Time." (All students must be accompanied by an adult.)

DSES Serves! 💙🐺

On their day off, DSES staff is finding ways to serve others! On Monday, DSES staff and families came together to volunteer at Mirna’s Place in Buckeye, giving their time and energy to support our local community. Mirna’s Place lives by the mission, “Seeing the Need, Taking the Lead,” working to bridge the gap between businesses, organizations, and individuals in need. We are so proud of our DSES staff and families for stepping up, giving back, and showing that being a Coyote means caring for and serving others—on and off campus!
