Sanchez Caldwell recorded 443 yards in total offense (244 yards passing, 199 yards rushing) with 5 TDs in a 39-0 shutout of Odyssey Institute.

We were made aware of a social media post this evening that references "Buckeye local" and a threat against schools. We notified Buckeye police and they told us they were made aware of the post yesterday and determined it refers to an area in the state of Ohio. Authorities in Ohio are investigating. There is no threat to our schools.

Congratulations to Ms. Simons and her Robotics program for placing 2nd at the D-backs and Honeywell Futureshaper Robotics Program Competition on Sunday, September 8th. The TVHS Robotics team received $1,500 through their hard work and dedication.

There will be an English Presentation at 5:30, followed by a Spanish presentation at 6:30. Please join TVHS on Thursday, August 15, for our Meet the Teacher night. We will begin in the Auditorium at 5:00 with a welcome from our administration followed by a senior parent meeting. You are encouraged to walk the campus and meet your student's teachers. We look forward to seeing you!
Tomorrow, August 14 all 9-11 graders will be participating in benchmark testing. Please make sure chromebooks are charged, students get a good night's sleep, and arrive to school on time. During testing, our seniors will be participating in their own college and career-ready activities.
